What an amazing hotel tucked into Chicago!!!! As soon as you enter the front door you are met with a beautiful lobby that can only be described as elegant. We were welcomed by Beverly and Lucia at the front desk and their charm just added to the ambiance. I truly do not think you could have a better duo as the public face of your hotel. Even the elevators have a creaky rattling charm as they bring you to your room. Because of a scheduling mistake on MY part we had a different room for both nights of our stay and both of them were the cleanest hotel rooms I can ever remember staying in. (They even have air purifiers in the rooms!). The hotel itself is on Wabash Ave. which can be extremely noisy because of the train that runs over the road, but the hotel manages to dampen the sound to an occasional low rumble that is more felt than heard. This has become my go to hotel for Chicago and I hope to stay here many times in the future. Enjoy!!!

The room was nice and Beverly at the front desk provided excellent service at check in and beyond. The Italian bartender is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Celebrated a birthday with friends and family from multiple states. We had the best time and felt so taken care of by the Silversmith. All of the staff was wonderful, but Bev stole the show! She made our stay extra special.

Hotel bien situé dans le Downtown de Chicago, à côté de l'Art Institute. Proche des métros. Grande chambre, propre.

Pas le quartier le plus animé le soir. Je n'ai pas compris le fonctionnement du petit déjeuner 'à la carte'. ça ne semblait pas fonctionner.

I stayed at the Silversmith Hotel in Chicago. 10 Wabash recently, the week before Easter 2026. I had a very enjoyable stay. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The Employees were very Cordial, Professional and Accommodating. Doing everything possible to make for the Best of visits to the City of Chicago. It is a great location, near the Bean which is a block South of the Hotel and a must see while visiting Chicago. Across the street from the Bean. There is an excellent restaurant named the Remington where they have seating in or outside the Restaurant. Best French Dip Sandwich ever!! And many other choices on there Menu. Last of all close enough to walk, take Public transportation or Uber from the Hotel. To go to the Millennium shopping area. Or The River Front where there are several tours on the water. Finally, one block from a Beautiful, Historical Macys with 5 levels of very organized and spacious Shopping floors.
