no assistance with luggage from underground car park up the 3 flights of stairs. At night I was not allowed to park in the underground carpark as maintenance was taking place and the external one does not provide a safe alternative for entering the hotel. The toilet was blocked and would not flush properly, the towels could have been cleaner or retired altogether. The room service food was terrible and pricy, considering the fish was overly salty, and the chips were greasy and ill-prepared!

The proximity to the city centre and also the facilities were all functional and clean.

This hotel does not meet the standards of a 4-star property. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I arrived late for check-in, around 8–9 PM, and paid more than the required amount, expecting to receive change. However, the reception insisted on exact payment and could not provide change at the time, saying it would be given later. Even at check-out, they still didn’t have the change, which was very frustrating. It’s not about the money itself, but the lack of professionalism in handling a basic situation. The service was not good, especially at reception. The lady who assisted me did not handle the situation properly, and her attitude made the experience even more unpleasant. Additionally, the air conditioning in the room did not work at all, and the room itself was very old and in need of renovation. The only positive aspect of my stay was that they allowed me a late check-out at 2 PM, which I appreciated. Overall, I would not consider this a 4-star hotel. I recommend future guests clarify payment expectations in advance and be aware of the room conditions before booking.
