Outbound Sedona

Went for a girls spa retreat and this place was great! The staff were friendly. The spa is on site which is nice and the massage was super relaxing. A bit outdated but still had a nice room with a beautiful view! Also is a great location, but if you want to avoid the afternoon weekend traffic definitely stay closer to uptown and the shops, so they are walking distance. Can also uber, but would still be in traffic. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay here!

- The location is fantastic, minutes away from several sights of interest - The food at the restaurant on site was great. - The common areas like lobby, restaurant, outdoor patio/seating area are updated

- The rooms are really tired and I would say quite misleading in pictures vs how they are in real and are very inconsistent with the common areas - Our booking said a room with view of the garden or pool...we actually overlooked a side alley. When shared with the staff at the front desk, they shrugged their shoulders as booking was done through booking.com - The pool area is quite tired as well - The service at the restaurant was lack lustre (while food was great)

The filthiest hotel I've even been to and I have been to hundreds around the world. The front desk staff were very rude and don't realize they are in the hospitality business. They overcharged us by a full day and then decided it was my problem rather than just apologizing for the oversight and refunding it, I had to make multiple calls to try to get anyone to address the situation and in the end I had to do a charge back with my back because they just couldn't be bothered. I was purposefully disconnected many times or transferred to dead end extentions. Would have been easier to just refund the overcharge. I realize it was only $400+ but it was mine. The rooms were filthy, the beds were old and very uncomfortable and the pool doesn't look like it had been cleaned in months. The restaurant actually had some pretty good food but given the cleanliness of the rest of the place it would make me wonder about the status of the kitchen too. Bottom line, if you have any expectation of being treated like a guest at this spa resort then I would highly suggest choosing a different place. One one desk person was kind and helpful and older man but the big scarry woman and a smaller one were both rude and condescending.

The facility was very beautiful. Landscape was gorgeous and very comfortable.

The trash from a previous guest was outside my room door when I arrived. The screen door was removed at set aside from the slider, which would’ve been nice to keep the door open as it’s spring and the weather is beautiful out. However the guests in the room below me smoking their copious amounts of cigarettes, forced me back inside and unable to enjoy the scenic views. Also the hostess at the restaurant thought I should’ve made a reservation for an empty restaurant where are server decided to spend more time flirting with the cooks in the kitchen than making sure we where taking care of. Not to mention when I was checking out, the staff in the lobby didn’t need ask if enjoyed my stay. Probably for the best they wouldn’t have liked my reply.

The property is old, and the rooms are also outdated, but the staff are friendly and professional.

Chose this hotel looking for a cheaper option to Downtown Phoenix as the prices were absurd. The hotel is a 20min drive from Phoenix. The casino and hotel is like most others, clean and secure. If you are looking for a cheaper option, it’s an option. Parking is complimentary also
