Holiday Inn Redding by IHG

Needed an elevator and it was way in the back and still encountered stairs before we got to the room. Need to make this clear on web site. There was no breakfast as stated. It was grab and go but nothing was available

The location was the best part.

No breakfast or dinner to purchase at the place. The attached private restaurant was rude. Needed a reservation to eat. There were many available tables. The young girl receptionist said “ Oh you’re just walk ins” we were traveling Saturday June 26 evening. Not welcoming. We were told there was a continental breakfast in the morning. No coffee in the lobby as well.

The hotel advertises that they have EV chargers but apparently these haven’t worked in a year! The manager wouldn’t even consider giving me compensation since this was one of the main reading I’d booked this particular hotel on our road trip! She stated that the chargers were from a third party and that she had asked them to remove them. How about your company removing this as an amenity from your website?!!!!!!

The location is great and we stay here often when we travel. The rooms are comfortable and usually very clean. The staff that checked us in was very friendly and helpful.

There was food in the chair and a streak of grease on the table. Other than those 2 things the room was clean. When we checked out, Jenny, was borderline rude when telling me that the restaurant was not open for breakfast. I told her that we had been told when we checked in that the re-model was complete and that it would be open in the morning. She said "well he was wrong. It is open for dinner but won't be serving breakfast until next month." When I asked about coffee, she rudely said "you have a Kuerig in your room. That's your free coffee. We don't offer free coffee down here." I said that they should probably update the website, that states there is 24/7 coffee and she stared at me and shrugged her shoulders.

Shower didn’t work in rm 224, no water pressure. Hotel check in counter provided ear plugs because hotel sits by railroad tracks.

Very good location Very good breakfast

The property was very clean and comfortable for me and my family. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

if they offered a continental breakfast this place would be a 10 out of 10!
