Holiday Inn Santa Ana-Orange Co Arpt by IHG

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Orange County Airport in Santa Ana because my father-in-law is in the ICU at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital. We booked this hotel through Expedia, trusting the Holiday Inn reputation, but were extremely disappointed with the way we were treated by one of the employees, Norberto. We went down for breakfast at 9:27 AM (breakfast ends at 9:30). I politely asked if we were too late, and instead of showing any courtesy, Norberto responded curtly: “Oh yes, you are, breakfast is finished.” Thankfully, another staff member kindly allowed us to grab something quickly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, Norberto was clearly unhappy about it. Fifteen minutes later, he came to our table, pointed at his watch, and rudely told us we had “5 minutes to clear the area” because they needed to prepare for lunch. When I asked for the manager, he falsely claimed to be the manager. The front desk later confirmed that was not true and gave me a business card for the actual manager. This type of behavior is rude, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Guests deserve courtesy and respect, not to be rushed or misled. We expected much better from Holiday Inn.

Hotel was fine. The staff was nice. No breakfast and you have to pay for parking. There’s really nowhere to eat close by except for Del taco and the area is not the greatest & one other bar pub type restaurant. The elevator was broken by the front lobby, which was inconvenient.

Clean property with decent bed. Decor somewhat outdated. Much noise from the freeway. Bathroom was awkward and cramped.

I didn't pay attention to the fact that this hotel, though being an "airport" hotel did not have a shuttle. And secondly, one of the websites connected with this hotel showed periodic shuttles to Disneyland....no ..... no shuttle. All sites need to be updated My room was nice and I was on a pretty quiet floor. Breakfast was not included in my package, but I went ahead and purchased Breakfast. It was delicious! And the hospitality was great. Thank you

my family and I had during our recent stay at your hotel. While most aspects of our visit were satisfactory, our encounter with one of the employees in the breakfast area left us extremely dissatisfied. The staff member in question was unprofessional and discourteous, creating an unpleasant atmosphere instead of the welcoming environment we expected. Their behavior made what should have been a simple, enjoyable breakfast into a stressful experience. This does not reflect the quality of service that we associate with the Holiday Inn brand. We chose your hotel because of Holiday Inn’s reputation for hospitality and comfort, and we were truly surprised and disappointed by this incident. I hope that this matter will be addressed promptly so future guests do not encounter the same treatment

I stayed for a couple of nights and the property appears well kept and my room was clean. The only thing that didn't work for me is the mini fridge that smelled funky, so I didn't end up using it. The place was generally quiet and I was able to enjoy some "me time" for the weekend. Parking in the back was easy access. Will stay again!
