Doubletree By Hilton Mt. Vernon

This is a Hilton! I expected at least cleanliness! The property is beautiful however, the bathroom vent was caked in dust and disgusting. There was grime & soap scum all ovrr the shower. The shower itself is sleek and stylish but lacks shelving or a toe prop, plus the conditioner hilder was broken off the wall.

They only have 4 luggage carts and when we were ready to leave in the morning they were gone. W asked the clerks at the desk and he said people keep them in their rooms he looked 4 times during the night and couldn’t find any. Maybe they should have a sign by the carts do not keep in your room please return.

This experience has ensured that I will not use the Hilton brand again. I reached out to the hotel, and Hilton customer service to politely discuss my experience and was basically told "oops, sorry you were unhappy, you're the one that paid us". If you want a business that actually has customer service and cares about you as a customer, I'd suggest a different brand.

The staff did everything they could to rectify the problem with calmness. It’s a beautiful place with large quiet rooms.

The first room had not been properly cleaned with grease in the shower and bed looked like someone had sat on it. Also, as a single older woman traveling alone putting me in the very last room in the place that was down a long dark hall and next to the stairwell did not feel safe. The second room was clean but all the shower accessories were empty and no soap was left to wash hands. The desk was able to get a couple bars of soaps. The buffet was excellent. I rarely eat at hotel buffets but this was a treat.

It was clean and the staff was friendly!

We had to move to a different room due to the toilet not working in the initial room. The second room the remote to the tv didn’t work at first but the staff quickly sent someone up to fix it.

Good location for coming off the highway. Plenty of options for dining

The cons:The room was dark, the bathroom was dark limited lighting. Couldn’t see inside closet. Couldn’t see to put makeup on in bathroom mirror. Near bed,Water stain on ceiling. the shower floor overflowed water into bathroom. Have to go to restaurant to get coffee downstairs. Window view is not good. The pros: The hotel itself is beautiful. Nice pool and hot tub. Large Lobby area. The staff was nice.

Convenient place

Horrible Hilton Employee when I attempted to get my room key. Stupid, Arragant, promoting a volcamic atmosphere. Worst Hilton property which I have stayed at worldwide.
