Extended Stay America Suites - Austin - Northwest - Research Park

Please remove this property from your selection. It was very dirty, and smelled really bad. There were fleas crawling on my legs in the lobby, the bedding, mattress were stained soiled, the pillowcases had blood stains as if someone got bit by bedbugs, there were dead roaches on the room floor. I did not stay there i asked for a refund and found a found a different hotel.

Not staying here again. Here's why: 1. Had to crawl under "desk" in order to plug in laptop. 2. There are no USB chargers in room. I've stayed in cheaper hotels where this is part of the lamp. 3. Can't reach closest lamp from bed. Have to get out of bed to turn off lamp. 4. "Fully stocked kitchen" means you have us go down to the desk and ask for what you want. In my case, a drinking glass and a fork. There is literally nothing in the kitchen but a fridge, microwave, and a towel. 5. There is a group of old dudes, ranging in number from 3 to 5 (plus or minus a dog) in the parking lot outside my room on the backside of the property hosting a tailgate party. I can hear them from the 4th floor.

The rooms were disgusting. The TVs weren’t working due to holes in the TV. The bathrooms were a mess completely neglected. There were bugs crawling around the furniture was so worn down and ragged.

My room was disgusting! Awful experience!!

The pictures and the hotel description you see in the Hotels.com profile aren't accurate! There is no pool. (it's been filled in with concrete).The "breakfast included" is offered sporadically. Their excuse was always ... "Out of supplies and awaiting delivery". Roaches galore! And the constant odor emminating through the halls. Used condoms and hypodermic syringes strewn about in the parking lot. People living in their cars. Staff is confrontational and very put out with any requests. The pics of the rooms are totally misleading also. Bed had no mattress pad/cover. Just bed then fitted sheet. Curtains were stained, smelly and had holes in the lining. Refrigerator not working properly. Lost $100 in perishable groceries and they didn't even apologize. Only one small bag cart with deflated and thrashed wheels which was never accessible. Noisy and dusty highway/frontage road construction right outside the property. CapMetro bus terminal immediately adjacent to the property. Was hit up for money in the parking lot by an abundant number of homeless people almost every day there. Lil curly Pubic hairs embedded in the stained and course towels. Shame on Extended Stay America for failing to provide a safe, clean and hospitable property. And shame on Hotels.com for not doing a better job in vetting the properties they endorse on their site by ensuring the pics, details are current and accurate.

The property was nasty it smelled like animals I had to change 3 rooms the first one the door wouldn’t open the second one the AC didn’t work the third one had roaches in there and when we called the front desk for extra covers for the pull out bed they lied to us and never brought them upstairs the 3-11 staff said she would bring them up but never did we watched her get in a car and drive off the over night staff was supposed to bring them up to me and never brought them nor did she call back and say anything my kids got bit by something on that pull up bed in room 266 it was very bad in the hotel

Brittney the manager is completely unprofessional and rude. Rooms didn’t have clean linens and pull out sofas were horrible shape with nasty stains.

Everything! Parking lot shit hole Bathrooms/no toilet paper Beds, and their trash under it Boiling showers No staff in the front Mold in showers I can go on and on for dear life!
