GBOur room was very comfortable and we had a very pleasant sleep. The breakfast was filling. The staff were pleasant and professional
GBGBI have stayed at this venue several times before so I knew what to expect, and therefore had no hesitation in booking to stay here again. I also feel safe here as a single female traveller. The staff as always are friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Pleased I was offered 50% discount for overnight parking - so I paid £14 per 48 hours, as I think £14 standard charge per 24 hours would have made me look at other hotel options.
This is NOT what I didn't like as such, just little "niggles". 1. I think the evening meals available on the menu are rather limited, and do not feel it can be classed as a restaurant offerings. 2. Breakfast is plentiful and lots of variety of foods. Saturday breakfast was a bit disappointing because being on my own, I had to leave my bag on my chair so that the table I had chosen to sit at did not get taken by others. Same when I went to get my toast, so the table did not get cleared as I had not finished my coffee. Sunday breakfast was much better. I was offered a table notice which I could place on "my table" either to show that the table was reserved or table can be cleared. (I can't recall exact words now but similar). Much better system.
