Hampton Inn by Hilton Costa Mesa Newport Beach

New property still painting and adjusting area. Bed very uncomfortable, bedding smelled like old man body odor. 2nd morning juice machine down. Locked out of room after breakfast.

Locatin is by a majour hwy and motor bikes noise are loud and frequent in the nights. Cloths storage is insufficient for a week stay. Shower. Water temp or shower valve mixture, is adjested too low. Staff are nice and kind.

My wife & I enjoyed our stay but, we didn’t get the suite I had paid for. I had to go through hotels.com to get reimbursed the remaining amount I was owed. I’m still confused on why I wasn’t contacted by phone to let me know about the room change.My wife and I enjoyed our stay, but unfortunately, we did not receive the suite I had paid for. To rectify this situation, I had to initiate a process through hotels.com to receive reimbursement for the remaining amount owed. Despite this resolution, I remain perplexed as to why I was not notified via phone regarding the room change.

Place was great, staff great rooms nice!, just a little construction that was slightly inconvenient when I checked in I have the 4.7 stars overall

Hotel was under construction so there was debris in the walkways around the hotel and a strong chemical odor inside the building The room was okay and hotel staff were helpful otherwise I would have given an even lower rating.

Hotel undergoing renovation, which would have been good to know. New room, but heater was very loud. The location is not desirable--a lot of noise from the street in front. Had to ask staff after check-in about internet, breakfast (which was not "breakfast" but a togo bag. Will not be back. Way too noisy.

The property should have highlighted that it was a construction site in which case we would have avoided booking. The lobby was not in an acceptable state for having guests through, especially whilst charging this rate. Where were the amenities ie fitness centre? Where was the wifi information? Breakfast was pretty disappointing, a small single bagel offered apples/oranges. Plastic cups in room. Poor value and disappointing that the construction site was not highlighted. The hotel branding also changed to the Hilton causing confusing upon arrival. Standard is definitely not up to Hilton as yet, and pricing should be updated to reflect current condition.

The room was recently renovated.

No lobby. Construction ongoing. Very little parking. Breakfast was supposed to be included and all we got was a bagel in a bag with water.

Nothing.

There was no breakfast provided, brown bags with water and granola bar were left on a table. The power went out for a while in the hotel during our stays. Construction workers were working over night and could hear them the whole night to the point we could not sleep.

Paper thin walls and ceilings, if you like it quite when you sleep find another place. Under construction so no breakfast area available. They tried with some takeaway coffe up front and a Keurig in the rooms.
