Best Western Yuba City Inn

just what we needed after a worse stay at previous hotel. we got there late but receptionist was really nice and he was very professional. room was very clean. and stay was comfortable

breakfast was okay. staff was friendly.

Hotel is in ran down condition. Light switch next to the door didn't work, matresses were badly sunk in, pillows were so terribly soft/sunk(?)) - all badly need a new ones. Carpet was very old & didn't look "clean". Not sure if TV was working because didn't turn it on but looked very old style. Given 2 key cards, but one of them wasn't working. Very disappointed. I thought Best Western was the best motel among motels chain but not this one & the price charged was too expensive for the hotel condition. When I checked out & asked about my stay experience by the receptionist, she was very familiar in describing the matresses condition, which showed it's been complained by all motel's guess. Terrible!

Noisy roosters throughout the night

Christine at the front desk went out of her way to make sure I had a clean, comfortable room ready right at my check-in time. Her warm welcome, attention to detail, and genuine effort to make sure everything was just right truly stood out. Thank you, Christine, for your friendly greeting and for making me feel like a valued returning customer from the moment I walked in. Your exceptional service made my stay feel even more enjoyable and appreciated.

I needed just one night in Yuba City so I could meet my fly fishing guide very early the next day. My room was spotless -- the in-room coffee was really good. The climate control kept my room nice and cool even though it was very warm outside. I was warned the roosters might wake me up but I couldn't hear them in my room with the door shut. My bed was comfortable - I got a food night's sleep. The staff was very friendly and were helpful about where I could eat dinner. There are a number of really good choices within walking distance - Under 10 minutes.

Average stay. Price wasn’t bad though. Needed a new mattress. Hot breakfast just ok. Eggs over cooked, bacon under cooked wadded up into a greasy ball. Neat to be greeted by wild chickens around property. Much quieter in rear away from hwy 99. Couldn’t get onto internet right away. One of 2 key cards worked for door entry. Shower head not tall enough for a 6’3” person. Might stay again if some improvements have been made. Thank you to staff. Very friendly and professional!!
