The location

The fact the man who was taking care of breakfast and the surrounding area . Would go outside touch the trash can and smoke right outside the main entrance. Then he would walk right back in and touch the breakfast area again. Also he touch the bread and bagels without washing his hands. When we called down to ask for extra pillows . The lady had us go down and get them . We seen a few people check in and come back down and check right back out. Our room was clean and we did not see anything ( bugs ) in our room. A lady with an obvious broken arm, asked if she could have someone bring her more trash bags to her room. The lady at the front desk said no here you can take them yourself.. I just found that a little rough.

The hotel we first booked canceled our night three hours before check-in so we had to scramble to find a hotel in the area we needed. The price per night I don’t think was worth it. The area was a bit rough, but not a big deal since we were staying inside. Walking inside however the interior of the hotel needs a lot of TLC. Carpets were old and worn and bubbled, there were marks on the wall all over the place, and the room numbers were half missing and colored in with permanent marker. During breakfast, there was no one around when we encountered a problem. No one attending breakfast, no one at the front desk. I will say that the girl who checked us in the night before was nice enough. There was also someone smoking in the adjacent room which filtered into our bathroom so we had to keep the door shut . Rooms however were acceptable. Overall, definitely not worth the price.

Staff

Would not recommend this place! Still trying to get the double charge on my card corrected. WiFi is pretty much non existent. The “breakfast” haha coffee pots were empty ,eggs were gone, sausage was cold, donuts were old. When brought to the attention of the front staff she chose to go outside for a smoke rather than address the issues. Very disappointing, would not stay here again.

The first room we were assigned did not have a working TV. The drain on the shower did not work. The curtains were shredded and didn't close or provide security. When a charger or other electrical drive was unplugged, fuses blew - a huge fire hazard. The second room we stayed in did not have a functioning sink drain. Monday morning there were very few items available for what was supposed to be a full breakfast. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The room wasn't clean. The bed was made. Found a piece of toast on the carpet by the bed. Dust on the dresser. Food crumbs on the table. The curtain was part way down. I always stay here. This is the first time this has happened. And no microwave in my king size room. The microwave is a deal breaker for me. Manager said she would see about getting me one but it never happened. I won't stay in a place that has no microwave or fridge.

Absolutely nothing

I don't believe there was anybody over the age of 20 running this hotel. All they cared about was their phone and smoking their cigarettes outside. The cleaning people were horrible.

Room comfortable, staff pleasant, breakfast stocked and quality fair.

Room had garbage under bedside table and wasn't cleaned in corner under sink....garbage. Breakfast was the same every day for 3 days. No variety.

LIKES:The room was quiet. DISLIKE: sink broken, hair dryer broken and no Kleenex.

When we arrived Friday at 5:00 pm (check-in is at 3:00), we had to wait at least 10 minutes for the staff to appear behind the desk and check us in. I even called, "Hello?" several times. Crickets. The dining area smelled like musty feet. The elevator to the third floor shimmied and shuddered. The room itself, when we walked in, had hard, broken pieces of plastic on the floor, and a dirty bath towel lay on the bathroom floor. Worst of all, my bedding has black smears (looked like ash) and brown smudges (which I chose to believe was chocolate). Between 9:00 and 10:00 am the next morning we asked the morning desk person (a different girl than the afternoon before) for housekeeping to clean our room (which they do only every third day unless specifically requested). The desk girl "added us to the list." At 4:30 pm, I reminded the afternoon desk girl (the same from 24 hours earlier) that we needed room service. She said she would check with housekeeping and see what they could do. At 5:00 pm, I watched the room service people leave the building, and now, at 9:30 pm, the room remains unserviced, and we have run out of Kleenex. I intend to ask for a discount when we check-out tomorrow morning. Wish me luck.
