Raglan Harbour View Hotel

Very old building with lots of character. Shared bathroom was a surprise.

Great location. In the centre of the town, close to all restaurants and coffee shops. Friendly staff a nd good to meet locals

They didnt get my reservation on line...

Was warned there would be a little bit of noise. Instead, it sounded like the crap American cover band playing in the bar behind the hotel was playing in my room. When the band and it’s minions quieted down enough to hear yourself think, the walls revealed just how paper thin they are and provided a full disclosure on the conversations the neighbors were having. Generous to call the mattress a mattress. Overall, its a really cool hotel and there’s definitely potential. But I challenge the ownership team to have a sleep there during the weekend. And not completely revamp the rooms afterwards.

Easy booking and everything was good . Tranquil and enough space at the room.

This is an old NZ hotel/pub. The facilities are basic but so is the price. If you're there on a weekend expect lots of noise/music from the pub downstairs. It is a basic but very clean room and there are shared toilet showers but, then again, it's 1/2 the price of other types of accommodation. The pub food, beer and is surprisingly good.

Great place to stay. Ngā mihi nui ki a Rahia mo tana manaakitanga. Another male shower or two would be helpful. Excellent provision for motor-bikes at the back.
