"If your goal is to be near the Historical District and don't much care about other hotel amenities."

Breakfast was unremarkable but if going out to breakfast is not on your schedule, it can work. The location is wonderful. You are less than 5 minutes from restaurants and the Historical district and museums. If inclined, you can even walk to the Blue Window Bistro for dinner - a great place to eat.

For the price, there isn't much this hotel offers other than location. Our room was clean and we had a nice room on the other side of the building away from the street.

"Miserable. Left early in the am without even eating breakfast."

Staff were excellent. And room immaculate to the extent possible with old fittings.

The hotel was hot and stuffy. The room temperature control was abysmal like something out of a 1940's fleabag motel. Sounded like a sea sick tractor on life support. Noisy, ineffectual, stuffy and horrible beyond measure. Worst experience at a high price. At $250.00 a night, not having pleasant air control was ridiculous. Refund would be appreciated.

Breakfast is fresh stuff was great. Didn’t need to wait for help on any of the food. Customer Service at the front desk was awesome. Very clean. Very nice. We’ll stay there again.
