USI been coming here for years and the last time I was there the place was looking rough but to my surprise on this visit everything was clean and a lot of upgrades. Staff was friendly. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

I stayed here with my son recently and had a really disappointing experience with how the staff handled a situation involving a sick child. Unfortunately, my son became ill during the night and threw up on some of the linens. I did what any responsible guest would do — I cleaned up what I could and then went to the front desk to ask what they would like me to do with the soiled linens. The response I received from the attendant was simply: “We are going to charge you for that.” No concern, no guidance, no attempt at hospitality — just an immediate threat of a charge. And sure enough, they later charged $200. I understand businesses have policies and I would have been willing to work with them if there was actual communication or basic compassion involved. Kids get sick. That’s life. What I didn’t expect was such a cold and dismissive response from a place that’s supposed to be in the hospitality industry. If you’re traveling with children or want to stay somewhere that shows even a small amount of understanding when something unexpected happens, I would strongly suggest finding another option. They also had an ant problem. I left early because the ants were just too much.
