Quality Inn & Suites Lake City

My stay here had an interesting start. The room I initially had was riddled with flies. I saw the sign that said any issues with the room needed to be addressed in 30 mins. Once I alerted the staff, I was given a new room, no problem! Im used to staying in 4 or 5 star accommodations but Lake City is a developing area, these accommodations are updated, but not posh. Clean, professional, and they feed you. I will be back again if I needed a hotel near Kingstree.

The floors were dusty and there was some hair in the corners—clearly a rush job cleaning. I called down 3 times to get a late check out and no one answered…which forced me to walk down to the front office. After ringing the desk bell twice someone came out. Hair disheveled and groggy. I told him I called r times and he said he was on the other line. I don’t believe this. I believe he was sleeping. Further, this room is NOT worth $199.00! For quality Inn in lake city?! And charged an additional $25 for late checkout…absolutely ridiculous. The “breakfast “ was meh.

My stay was great. I stayed an extra day and had to pay more than I wanted to because I paid through the hotel instead of contacting hotels.com I will definitely stay again.
