Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Seattle Downtown/Seattle Center

The location is quite ok. Some staffs are helpful(I forgot to take down their name.) The breakfast is pretty decent, it has the self made waffle which is my favorite. Bagel is good, coffee is good. The staff in the breakfast area are nice and helpful.

The structure is pretty old, the noise from the floor above is unbearable. We reserved transportation through the hotel to airport but it didn’t happen, the staff didn’t know what’s going on.

Excellent location. Super friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Several places within walking distance to see and eat. Would stay again ❤️

Good location

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was unacceptable due to repeated broken promises, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability from management. Before my arrival, I specifically called the hotel and was assured that my three rooms could be arranged on the same floor. Upon check-in, I was told there was no record of this request and that it could not be accommodated. After further discussion, staff told me they would take care of it while I was out for the day. When I returned, nothing had been done, and I was told that no such promise had been made. The following day, the hotel finally managed to place all three rooms on the same floor. However, I was then told by Samir that I would be charged for an additional night because I had not returned by 12 noon. At no point was I informed that there was any deadline or requirement for me to return before noon in order to secure the room arrangements. It was unreasonable and unfair to blame a guest for information that was never communicated. The housekeeping situation was even worse. Throughout my entire 5-night stay, my room was not serviced a single time. I repeatedly called the front desk to request housekeeping and was told rooms were cleaned every other day. Despite these assurances, my room was never made up once. The explanation given was that the hotel was transitioning to a new system, but that is an internal issue and should not come at the expense of paying guests. What frustrated me most was the hotel’s handling of compensation. Connor and Lee both informed me that they had spoken with management and that I would receive compensation in the form of a refund for one night’s stay. I was also told that the manager would contact me by email regarding this matter. More than a week after checkout, I received nothing. When I followed up, Samir denied that any compensation had been promised and stated that hotels do not provide such compensation.
