Comfort Inn Detroit Downtown

The location (for us) was great. Our room was comfortable, and clean enough although there was no room ‘service’ (as such), we had to put our bin in the hallway for it to be emptied. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The breakfast was very good and the person who managed this area was exceptional and very helpful.

There was a noticeable and unpleasant smell in the hallway. The carpet either needs to be cleaned or replaced. Otherwise the whole place could do with a freshen up (coat of paint etc.)

Es war entsetzlich dreckig inklusive Spuren der Vorgänger in der Toilette. Das Zimmer klein und eng. Jede Menge schlechter Gerüche im ganzen Haus. Insgesamt heruntergekommen und ungepflegt. Der Tisch in unserem Zimmer hat gewackelt. Der Lüfter im Bad ohrenbetäubend laut. Für das alles total überteuert. Es ist eine Unverschämtheit so etwas als Comfort Inn zu vermarkten. Mit dieser Marke Verbindet man ein andere Qualität. Hier versagt das Management der Choice Gruppe!!! Einzig das Frühstück war akzeptabel, aber ebenfalls alles andere als sauber

The elevator is broken. The TV in our room is broken. It smells like Marijuana all throughout the hotel. Someone also tried fighting the cops in the lobby and got arrested while we were checking in.

Property is definitely dated, elevator was down during our stay but the man at the front desk was very kind and the free breakfast was great! Just needed a cheap hotel overnight close to downtown and this fit the bill.

We expected the inside rooms to be fairly poor and we were right. Hair and dust in the heater/air con, carpet very stained - leave your shoes on. Smell in hallway. Upside, just a place to sleep for night was ok and Rich the shuttle guy AND the front office staff are excellent. Breakfast area and room nice - basic selection but appreciated. Fairly safe area.

The room smells I checked in and left and booked a room at another hotel I just took a loss on my money
