Comfort Inn Detroit Downtown

The convenient location to everything in downtown Detroit.

It smelled like marijuana. Didn't feel very clean.

The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, clean rooms, convenient location for all the downtown activities

The elevator is broken. The stairs to the rooms, the carpet is dirty and smelled.

The breakfast was great. The location was great

The elevator wasn't working. I didn't have a remote in the room. I called the front desk, and no one brought a remote to the room or called me back.

Bed was fairly comfortable; staff was friendly and helpful. It pretty much was what I expected--serviceable with few frills.

The barn door for the bathroom was a big off-putting. The elevator was non-functional and the stairway carpeting was either very old and unmaintained. Just had a sloppy feel to it.

The place is situated just few minutes from the city center, at a major route that offers quick connection to major freeways. Enough parking slots, complimentary breakfast with just enough tables, clean rooms. The price was really good for US standards.

The room did not have any closet/cabinet for clothes. The wifi is the sort where you need to log in every time. The breakfast did not offer any vegetables or fruits. The common areas (corridors, staircases) could use some investment to fix.

Location, breakfast was decent.

Beds could be updated. Rolled to the middle.
