Bar food was very good

Having to pay the bill up front. Staff were not very efficient, especially at the bar. The bar was not very comfortable, mostly just tables and chairs. More of a restaurant layout

The rooms were nice

Extremely strict at night times regarding bringing back a companion

The Location was perfect ,we used the Hotel for a cycling trip to Kerry, the staff in the Hotel were very Helpfull,aranging to have our bikes stored overnight.

No complaints..

Good food, good location

No ventilation in room. We were cooked. Windows did not open.

Reception not what I expected from a Killarney hotel.

Staffs are good. Location is reasonable if you travel on own car.

No Refrigerator. Not even water provided. Radiator was not working. No shampoo in the toilet.

It was within walking distance of the city centre.

On arrival we went to the Reception desk and were told by the Reception to give her a few minutes. We knew the check-in time was 4pm and we were there around 3.10pm. Time went by and we were still waiting, no explanation and felt totally ignored. I then approached the desk and said we have been waiting more than we were asked, not good customer service. The Manager then came out and said we are in the process of a staff changeover and check-in is 4pm. I said that I was aware of the check-in time and all we wanted to do was leave our luggage and come back later, but I was never given that opportunity to ask this! First impressions of hotel and staff were not good at all. We had booked a deluxe double and it was certainly not of a high standard or worth the money that was paid. The bottom of the bathroom door was damaged, marks on the carpet. We had paid extra for a late check-out and when we returned to our room to finish packing our cards did not work. Luckily a cleaner was next door cleaning and was able to let us in. If you offer this facility and expect customers to pay for it, make sure the cards are extended. The Reception area had cobwebs around the windows and it just felt that the hotel needed an upgrade and looked like it was not really well maintained.
