The spa facility is very good along with the Michelin food

Stayed in this hotel about 20 years ago, and it hasn't changed since really, the rooms are spacious but tired , we stayed for 2 nights for my wife's birthday which i stated on the booking and at dinner, you'd think a 5 star paying over 1k would pay some attention to that? Also we was checked out on their system after one day and Keys were cancelled so we had to go to reception and sort all that out, no apology or goodwill offered, I asked why the underfloor heating in the bathroom didn't work, was given blank looks and told its still summer? I was underwhelmed and overpaid for what I got. Won't be back. Last time I came car was parked for me, good old fashioned valet parking , asked what happened to that.. some excuse about covid, carried my own cases a long way to my room 5 star? Also no mini bar really?.. is this really a 5 star? I've paid alot less for alot more

Spa and pools area is great but you may need to check, check in times . Rooms are traditional, we up graded to a nice size room with comfy bed and spacious bathroom. Breakfast wasn’t included and was quite pricey. Parking in the car park was easy .

The food was quite good but expensive. The phone in our room didn’t work, so if you needed anything you had to go to reception.

Fantastic, booked through booking.com which doesn’t included breakfast next time will book through pennyhill direct.

We loved it so much that we changed our flights so we could stay longer! Staff are exceptional and facilities are truly splendid!
