Dutchland Motel

Check-in was easy. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and tub. The soap dish in the bathroom had old soap stuck to it, as did the countertop next to the sink. The place needed a cleaning, but I arrived late, was spending one night and didn't shower or remove my shoes.

Room seemed decent and I slept well in a rather quiet environment. My room had mice running around and our trash cans were never emptied so we set them outside at night so as not to feed the mice. Outside of buildings was rather dilapidated. One section had what seemed to be permanent residents on the very poor side. Felt very safe but would not park car behind building. I would never go back. I had chosen it for its location.

If it wasn’t for a wedding I had to shower and get dressed up for….i would have rather slept in my car in a Walmart parking lot!!! It was an absolute disgrace. I don’t know how this place even still has a foundation honestly!!! I’ve never had to soak a room in Lysol like I did this one and go buy insect traps just to be on the safe side!!!

The room was dirty, the frame bed was falling apart

I booked the room and paid for it through expedia. When i arrived 10 minutes AFTER booking and paying they wanted an additional $100 security deposit and then refused to refund me the $80 .

the green areas and parking were dirty the pool was empty and trash and debris around it. The lobby area ugly the TV in the room was not working when I asked about it the employee was very rude didn't help me the room was very outdated funny smell the microwave had better days in general the room was awful.

Clean and confortable.

No phone in a room. Remote can talk TV did not work. Shower sprayed over into the rest of the room. I had used towels to dry it up. When I came back to the room that evening they had not cleaned up the towels in the room. Did not know there was no room service because there was no pamphlets indicating that, no breakfast food . Entry lobby was dirty. And door in bathroom was dirty.

The first thing you see when you enter tge Lobby is a sign that says you can't stay there longer than 20 mins. Very strange. The checkin man was friendly but the hotel is very run down. And there is no tea or coffee facilities in the lobby or room. Just very tired.

We arrived and had a very bad feeling about this facility. They were making fake id cards in the parking lit, then took them inside a the hotel attendant took pictures of the id, and she was paid in cash. There were several cars sitting outside, with people in them, nit guests of the hotel. We asked to cancel the reservation and told we could not. We left immediately and stated at another facility. The safety of my family was in jeopardy and DOD really needs to investigate.
