Magnolia Hotel Downtown Dallas

Room was spacious and clean. People were great.

The hallway had a low musty smell.

Angestellte an der Rezeption wirken sehr gekünstelt / künstlich freundlich. Sie spulen ihr vorgegebenes Tonband ab, aber sobald man eine einfache Frage oder einen einfachen Wunsch hat, sind sie weder kreativ noch hilfsbereit und zeigen keinen Einsatz und keine Motivation. Gekünsteltes Auftreten, darüber hinaus nicht viel ausser Gleichgültigkeit.

Definitely a central location for downtown Dallas. Historical significance of the building. Within walking distance of the Farmer's Market, Kennedy Memorial, and Reunion Tower.

Lighting for the room relied on bedside lamps which were occasionally a bit too dim.

Night clerk did not welcome us. Took forever checking in guest before us. Valet was ridiculous. The valet employees refused to drive my husbands truck because they said it was too big and we still got charged for it.

Fantastic historic building with great original features, great location, clean rooms, good gym, helpful staff and at a great price.

For the price, everything is excellent. However the hotel could do with some extra investment. The decor could do with a refresh and the windows need cleaning for the amazing views. They need more staff on the check-in desk as the lovely chap who was working there had to deal with about 10 guests trying to check in on his own. Ideally they should have breakfast facilities for a hotel of this size in central Dallas and I’d bring back the nightly milk and cookies which was always a hallmark of the magnolia.
