Sadly the bed was a little uncomfortable

Food and drink good, location perfect and pub lovely

Our room was disappointing.....twin room when requested double, damp stains in corner of bedroom and bathroom, decor very dated. Shower over bath....so tight on space. Looked like other rooms on lower floors have been updated, sadly not our room! We did ask to me moved to a double but we're advised none available.

Lovely staff, food was excellent especially breakfast! The bed was very comfortable.

I would have liked to be able to open my window as it got very stuffy during the night

I have stayed here many times and love the atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they serve good food.

On this occasion I was in what was called a superior room. Whilst well kept and clean it was actually a family room with a double bed and two bunk beds. Not what I would call superior. No seating and the smallest TV which when in the double bed a wall stopped you seeing it. In a superior room I would expect some seating and a decent tv.
