"Room was very quirky, nice 4 post bed, very comfortable. Floorboards were very creaky."

Nobody on reception to checkout, nowhere t deposit room key safely. Needed to see someone so I could get a VAT receipt for my booking, unfortunately as I mentioned, there was nobody around. Emailed and asked through booking.com for a receipt and have had no response.

"Short 2 night stay"

Food was very good...(evening meal & breakfast)...

It's an old hotel but modernised...bedroom floor is very creaky (old big floorboards)...so if your a light sleeper...ask for non squeaky floor 😂

All the staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble, and they made me feel so welcome and looked after me so well. Even the cleaners do a wonderful job and made sure I had everything I needed in my room.

I couldn't stay longer!

"Not for us"

Hotel location was good, right in the centre.The hotel itself needs some tlc, the noise from the floorboards was terrible especially through the night.Cooked breakfast was horrible and my other half eats most food but he couldn’t eat it.

Wouldn’t stay there again

Really welcoming hotel. Food very good and staff excellent ensuring dietary requirements were catered for. Will hopefully visit again. Very dog friendly.
