The Castle Hotel

Breakfast was excellent and evening meals good value.

The room was starting to look a bit jaded with marks on the wall etc

The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean, and location near the castle ruins is good. Breakfast was alright, not exceptional

Hotel is pretty old and requires upgrades. The rooms have little or no sound proofing. I could hear the guest upstairs walking around and snoring . Traffic noise from the road was very loud, so did not sleep well despite a comfortable bed. Staff were mostly not at their posts and had to be called.

Rooms very well furnished. Evening food and breakfast were very good. Used this hotel whilst travelling for work. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Really nice stay, good food, good location and would definitely stay again.
