The apartment was roomy, there are a couple of shelves to store things. It's about a ten minute walk to either the Ribeira or the city center. The bed and shower were comfortable. The view from the Douro room on floor 3 is nice, close to the river. Although I didn't use the kitchen, there were plenty of amenities available, and things like oil and salt and pepper were provided. Entrance into the property was easy via a code lock, self check in was easy, with the key hidden behind a code lock as well.

When I arrived, my room wasn't cleaned. This was an error from the host/the employees, which can happen. It was resolved quickly after some contact with the host through Booking.com. The river side apartments are right next to a busy road. The main door closes with a pretty loud sound, and you can hear people walk and talk in the stairway from the room. This didn't bother me too much though, and these things are not the hosts' fault, just something to be aware of. The bed might be a bit too small if you're really tall. I had no problems with it, being 1,88cm or 6'2 tall.

Communication wasn't great

Loved the location! Great price. Clean and well equipped.

The bed was not very comfortable. Could really use a new mattress and a better pillow.

Full kitchenette with dishes and hot plate, microwave, kettle. Very handy. Clean. Good water pressure in the shower. Close to things. Good communication.

The beds were possibly the most uncomfortable beds ever made. Hard to sleep without waking up every few hours to reposition. Windows have never been updated, so they block rain but don’t block any noise. Even people just talking normally on the street can be heard.
