Porto Tile House

Sardinha, the studio I stayed is very lovely. It’s equipped with fridge, microwave, hairdryer. It’s very clean and super well located.

You can listen to people talking in other buildings or street. I was lucky and I was only disturbed by that in one evening Ann’s stopped by 1am.

Very cute building and bedsit. Situation is good for the waterfront and Gaia. Easy to get further into Porto. Eateries within a short walk and a restaurant next door.

Ensuite is very tiny, but it works. Needs a comfy chair, to save having to relax on the bed. Would be nice to have more than just one cup,glass etc... My single room/bedsit had no view and is on the 4th floor.

The beauty of this place is it is a very old historical building and they have kept the charm. Because of the historical status there is not an elevator or air conditioning in the building. However we were able to navigate the stairs and a fan kept us very comfortable. The owner was very attentive to our needs.

Location is perfect honestly. Just steps away from the waterfront/restaurants/bridge and all the sights

We enjoyed 2 nights staying at tile house. 4th floor room (Miragaia) facing the river. The building is lovely and even better than the photos show with so many original features which had been preserved beautifully. Everything you needed for a short stay. There was some road noise but the amazing view more than made up for it. There is no lift so we did struggle a bit with our heavy suitcases (as this was part of a longer trip for us) . There is no designated free parking but we did manage to find a free park space outside without a problem. It is an easy flat walk into Porto and near a tram and bus stop. Overall we loved it and would recommend and stay there again if visiting Porto.

Photos were misleading of the exterior and type of room I.e. No big picture windows and no view

It was very close to everything. You could just walk to the river and the city center. The trolley and buses were right by you as well.

The property was very quiet and cute

Excellent location,property as described by host. Very good restaurant downstairs.Room was very clean and well equipped for our needs.Great value for a room with balcony overlooking the river.Host responded quickly when contacted.
