Red Roof Inn Michigan City

Location was close to my selling event. Many dinning choices nearby. An area just off the bed which acted as a workspace for grading/pricing comics. TV worked.

Dated interior: carpet pulled up with bare floor. Tiny bathroom. Shower/ tub needed a good cleaning. Long hairs on shower walls and inside bathroom door. Road noise, somebody slamming the nearby dumpster top in the am. A guest having a loud parking lot conversation while drinking coffee about 6am.

The rooms were filthy. Our towels weren’t even folded. The walls were covered in dirt, grime, and bugars. The other room we had smelled like some just smoked a carton of cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. Absolutely vile.

I won’t stay again. No mattress on the bed. Box spring on a wood platform.

Old TV, bathroom had mold in it and holes in the drywall where tape was trying to cover it up, dirty furniture and crack heads around! I was watching my vehicle all night long. I stayed there 4 years ago and it's just gone down hill!!!

This was a $70 room at best not $170, which is what i paid. The bed was comfortable and there is a nice desk. Lots of dust. The bathroom was so poorly maintained, it was difficult to tell if it was clean or dirty. Ick. The facilities were filthy. Evidently, they haven't heard about power washers and paint. The trashcan was overflowing. Not only will i never stay there again, i will never stay at another Redroof.
