Red Roof Inn Lansing East - MSU

The rooms are beautiful the staff are very nice people

The only thing I liked was that it was a short stay. Sheets were dirty with cigarette burns, room smelled like nothing but cigarettes, bathroom door would not stay closed or lock, they left 1 bath towel for a 4 person stay, 1 roll of toilet paper. Definitely not worth what we paid! First and last time here.

My first room smelled like smoke and had fleas. It was not as clean as I would have liked. The second room was smoke-free and flea-free, but still not as clean as I would have expected. From my first room, I spent the night wondering if the itch was just an itch or an insect.

It was convenient to MSU and good price. But people should know it is pet and smoke friendly. Our first room reeked of smoke and we had to change it.

Location was okay

The fridge had three half drank Starbucks coffees, the bath didn’t drain, the fire detector was off the wall, the pillows were paper thin, the room had a crickets that kept me up all night :)

Needs updating Room clean however it did smell like smoke

You get what you pay for. Nothing more, nothing less.

My room was not clean. There was hair in the sink and shower. Some outlets didn't work. Floor had not been cleaned, food on it from previous customer. Told staff my concerns and they didn't appear to care. Laighed at me when I asked about continental breakfast.

Pillows were lumpy, dirty around facility, room was clean, staff was friendly.
