Red Roof Inn Detroit - Roseville St Clair Shores

Much more attention to detail than the last few years. Nice linens on the bed, nice big high-def television, clean room, no cracks and unfinished repairs in the bathroom. New management is turning the motel around!

Just plain and simple disgusting

Everything was good for the most part. I aaw some mold in shower. Plus carpet around the bes wasn't cleaned. It had the smell of urine in the room. Definitely needs to be taken care of.

From desk was nice. He said they were upgrading me because they ran out of room for the size that I picked. The first one he gave me smelled like mildew as soon as you open the door. The second one he gave me was better. However, the CV did not turn on. This will be the last time we're staying here.

They refused to refund the remaining 2 days on a 3 day stay even though I had insurance on my booking for cancellations.

Horrible stay this year. Never be back. This motel is more for people living it, than actual vacation/travelers! We have been fishing lake st Clair over 20 yrs and staying here almost always. But so run down or broke. Never cleaned! Just changed the sheets and towels. Missing light bulbs, water damaged bath ceiling just gross!

Zero star!! I stayed here several years ago and there were no issues. It is a transient area, but it is fine for a night or two. Or at least it used to be. My room was definitely full of smoke as all of them are because people are going to do whatever they wish when they reside there permanently. In addition, the toilet overflowed onto the floor, and I had to rush my belongings to my vehicle. I entered the un air-conditioned lobby was met with a young man that literally had no words and simply called the poor housekeeping, individual who did not have proper safety equipment to clean up a mess that athey reside their permanently. It was so horrific that I left my key at the front desk and simply drove off with no place to stay until I booked a new location online. It is not a safe location. DO NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Staff had given our booked room to someone else, so we didn't get the type of room we booked. Through 3 days they never made a single pot of coffee in office. Bathroom door had a hole where the bottom 3rd of it used to be.
