The room was updated and nice

It was extremely unsecure and dangerous situation. People sleeping in their cars in the parking lot. Drug dealers in the parking lot. People wandering around in the building leaving the side doors open. Hotel being used for indigent and welfare people. Major construction going on also. Manager extremely unfriendly.

Location was great and the staff was friendly. Access to a full kitchen is always a plus. They where working on much needed remodeling on the 3rd floor, hopefully the rest of the floors will get some love too.

Room smelled awful, like sweaty gym clothes, some of the lamps and decorative items where very rusty. Clogged sinks, thankfully where addressed in a timely manner. Smelled strongly of marihuana across the rooms hall.

Forgotten dirty towels in sink and damp in room. We asked to be moved rooms due to a stale odour. All is well with new room. Receptionist was very accomodating.

Hotel industrial washers were unavailable, forced to launder own sheets and towels accordingly. Area is relatively sketchy, waited 20 minutes for someone to show up at the desk for check in. Wasn't horrendous, but wasn't ideal by any means.

We stay at this hotel at least once or twice a week, and Selena went above and beyond to help me book our room on our first visit. She is very friendly and has an excellent personality.
