Belhuish Farmhouse

Comfortable, safe stay in a beautiful area within easy walking distance across rolling hills to local attractions such as Durdle Door. Great host.

Rod was a wonderful host. We felt really at home in the farmhouse. Our 5 year old chose it from viewing the photos on Expedia, and we are so happy he did. We had a three night break between Christmas and NY. We vsited the Tank Museum, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, as well as enjoying the local pubs and cafes for excellent food. We left feeling relaxed and rested and plan to book again when warmer weather arrives. The chickens in Rod's garden and pheasants in the nearby fields were a lovely added bonus for us. Rod is a wealth or knowledge and has many funny stories, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Altogether a relaxed, inviting and easy going stay for our family. Thank you very much from the three of us.

We had a lovely stay. The farmhouse was tucked away in a beautiful location a short drive from Lulworth Cove. We had a delicious cooked breakfast and the host was extremely friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely return!

A welcoming stay in a traditional farmhouse. Rod is a very friendly man and very socialable towards people staying in his home. Location is perfect to get a way for peace abd quiet. Beautiful countryside

Pros: - location was very very good - has a nice bathtub Cons: - was not made to feel welcome by the host from the moment we arrived - was very noisy as could hear people speaking underneath our room, one night the host was having a bbq with friends directly outside our room when they have a HUGE garden but decided to have it outside our room. We got woken up MANY times during this which was not nice considering the host should be aware that we could hear everything. We felt that wasn’t very considerate. The room also smelt of smoke all night and the next morning (despite our window being closed) - no milk in the room for tea - host didn’t bother asking if we needed anything the entire stay / breakfast option / where breakfast was - lighting is off in the room and flickers

A lovely idyllic setting where you can relax and switch off, surrounded by fields and seclusion. Large garden was great for the kids, as well as horses, sheep and chickens for them to see. Room was spacious and plenty of towels. Owner was very friendly and welcoming too! only negative was no bath (just shower) in family room, which isn't ideal with toddlers..

We enjoyed our stay at Belhuish Farmhouse. Rod was a lovely host who made us feel welcome. We had beautiful garden views from our bedroom with an en-suite and the bed was very comfortable. The garden is large and is surrounded by fields. Moreover, the shower is powerful and the location is good; it is in the peaceful countryside and a short drive to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. It is close to the village of Wool which has a Spar shop and places to eat. I was happy with our stay but the WiFi could have been stronger in our room. To get a strong signal, we had to go in the hallway but it was nice to have a break from technology. The tv was also very small in our room. Overall, I would recommend staying here and I would stay here again if I was to visit the area in the future.
