The house is a contemporary renovated town house, it is actually more spacious than the pictures shown and the lighter is much softer and warmth, there is a small backyard with a tiny pond in the middle, the 2nd floor have some interested hollow floor design with a foot bridge connecting the bedroom so you can see the first floor from the 2nd floor, the art collection such as some wall painting and slide door as well as the teapot collection is quite classy as well

Overall is very nice house, one point of note is that the house is near the Arashiyama tram (Randen) instead of the subway, so the main way of travel will be either bus or a 10 minutes walk to the nearest JR rail
