Machiya Hotel YANAGI

Ein modern renoviertes altes Town-House mit einer besonderen Architektur. Es bietet viel Platz zum Zurückziehen, aber auch zum Zusammensitzen. Es ist sehr schön eingerichtet und liegt in einer ruhigen Straße in einem Viertel mit vielen Restaurants und Kombinis. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Räume sind sehr hellhörig und die Schiebetüren laut. Die Betten waren eher hart.

Loved the modern meets traditional construction of the house! The host left us a gift of teas and all of our amenities were available to us. The use of space was impressive as well. The space itself was clean and the futons we slept on were very cozy. The AC also works well.

The location - the hotel is out of the way in Kyoto and also right next to a train track which is tragic. The gap between the ceiling and the walls makes the rooms less sound proof and a happy place for bugs.
