Everything! Super friendly Staff, location, hotel, rooms, view, cleanliness, vibes, the sea etc...

This is such a lovely place to go and just hang out for a bit. There was hardly anyone there the week before Christmas, so we had practically the whole place to ourselves. They welcome dogs, which was great for us. It was nice to stroll around the property with our dog. The room was very comfortable, and large. We liked being able to step out onto the patio with our dog when she needed to go outside. Front desk staff were friendly and fun to talk to. The only issue with being there in off-season is that the only food option on site is the Seaview Cafe. It has a limited menu, and is a bit pricey for what you get. The cafe out at the marina is a better value, or go into town. We enjoyed the spa massages. And the pool was absolutely lovely for lap swimming. (This from a year-round outside swimmer, even in cold weather.) We are looking forward to returning, again during off-season. The peace and quiet was so soothing.

Lovely place for a solo spa-cation, with a few caveats. I booked this as a treat for myself, after a busy fall. Pros: water view room with fireplace, easy to walk on the beach, hot tub/swimming pool/exercise room all great, excellent massage. Cons: Even though I was relaxing, I still needed to get work done. The lighting in the room wasn't great, the work chair was hard and uncomfortable, not enough counter space for my laptop and accessories. But worst was the food at the cafe. Overpriced and not good. At a health spa, I assumed there would be some healthy, non-fussy choices on the menu. Give me a fruit bowl and cottage cheese, a hard boiled egg, or some oatmeal. Nope. The dinner entrees were odd and expensive. Best bet: bring your own breakfast items (there is a microwave and a fridge in the room) and drive to Birch Bay for some delicious and fun dinner choices. Also - for those who care - this is not a luxurious resort. Some worn-out tiles, some ripped upholstery, stained tiles. Not terrible, just not first rate. No chocolates or cookies, no slippers, no muffins next to the coffee in the lobby. However, as as reasonable get-away from the Seattle area, it worked for me. And the massage was the best!

Great hotel wish there was more restaurants and bar options. In the winter there is only one restaurant. With limited bar drinks

Very quiet and peaceful getaway. Room was clean and comfortable with beautiful view. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great ocean location, excellent pool and spa area. Nicely updated but has some “ Old World” feel.

Main restaurant was closed, but the hotel cafe filled the gap quite well.

The staff is amazing and so helpful. The hotel has an amazing view and wonderful walking path along the beach. The fit and finish of the room could be better. The room smelled of dog ( it’s a pet friendly hotel) the fixtures, towels, furniture all looked worn out. The comforter on the bed was paper thin…. Maybe better for the summer? If you are visiting here for the location and view, you will not be disappointed…. Just be aware of average finishes and comforts in your room.

Here for family visit. We looked forward to swimming to find that the pool was not adequately heated at 71 degrees. They gave us little response. Food was nothing special and overpriced.
