"Beware, hardly no food at this beautiful place"

Semiahmoo has a fantastic location and a great atmosphere. We stayed here last year and the year before and were looking forward to another cozy fall retreat. But this was a bummer. We learned when we got there that Packer’s Kitchen and Bar closed for the season a week ago. It’s literally half the place! Now food options are very limited at the tiny Seaview cafe. Felt bad for the staff, they do what they can. But felt even worse for the other guests. There were several who seemed just as disappointed as we were.

No restaurant on site. There was one cafe with awful food and dirty area. The room was noisy all night. I wasn’t able to sleep more than 2-3 hours. They promised a room with a view instead I had a room that had a huge outdated wall in front of the window. The heating system was not working and I was freezing all night with no blanket. The shower was out of hair conditioner. Just a disaster the whole night.

"This resort was great once, but now is run down and in need of some love."

Beautiful location, large facility, PNW style.

Rooms felt rundown. First room had smoke detector directly above the bed flashing a green light in you all night. Second room had smoke detector in the same place! Cover up the lights! Second room’s front door didn’t close. You had to jam it up and in. The door to the deck facing the sea had a security bolt that didn’t work. And the wood trim along the windows was rotting and falling apart.
