Staybridge Suites Wilmington-Newark by IHG

Très grosse déception. J'ai réservé pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants et malheureusement la chmabre proposée permettait seulement de coucher 3 personnes (le divan lit comprenait un lit simple...) Impossible de changer de chambre. Ma fille a donc couchée au sol. L'air climatisée ne pouvait être ni ajustée ni éteinte et soufflait directement sur le divan lit...nous avons du placé les valises devant pour couper un peu l'air. Nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour la piscine exterieure mais malheureusement mes enfants n'ont pas coulu s'y baigner...le fond était vert et sale. La salle de bain etait sale, j'ai relavé la toilette et le sol...Le dejeuner était correct.

Décevant pas de machine à glace, la piscine à notre arrivée était fermée, il n’y avait pas de couverture dans la chambre pour le sofa-lit, il n’y avait pas de couvert pour 4 dans la cuisinette.

I liked the reception when I arrived, non cumbersome check in . And facility is clean. Serves good breakfast and dinner ! Pool is clean too!

Breakfast and staff were great.

Air conditioner was loud. No Ice maker.

This has always been my hotel of choice. The room layouts are nice, beds are comfortable, and location is ideal for someone traveling through the area frequently. Each time I go to this hotel (over 15 times), I've always had a pleasant experience. My most recent visit was very disappointing. Each of the times I've visited this hotel, I've had my dog with me. This was the first time that the front desk staff told me that I would have to pay a $75 dollar fee (not a deposit). I would not have been upset if this was a regular practice but to start requesting a $75 at the time of check-in (after numerous stays without the charge) was shocking. I also discovered that the floor I was staying on (not the room itself fortunately) smelled terrible upon stepping off the elevator. I told the manager and he said that other customers said it smelled like marijuana (it didn't...it smelled like feet).

This is what I would call a motel. Pool Is shared with the even more run down Ramada which seems to be attached to this hotel. The Ramada guests have full reign of Staybridge with no staff oversight or even attempt to mitigate the issue. There is zero housekeeping even when following weekend directions for housekeeping requests. Our room was dirty upon check in the microwave had old crusty cheese and there were former guests belongings under the sink. The tub had red rings and didn’t appear to be cleaned for a long while. Breakfast was horrible and the woman manning the area despite being on a personal call was following my son and I around as we served ourselves- super awkward and uncomfortable as bk is FREE. She literally questioned how long we were looking at the BK (we were departing on serving ourselves anything as food looked weeks old) which led to a legit stare down. Upon check out, the male working the front desk on June 15 at 12pm was rude and condescendig for no reason. Never the less, my numerous thank you’s were met with dead silence. If you want your kids to be in a place where guests are doing drugs, pregnant woman smoking cigarettes, cursing at their children and using racist words stay here!

This should not be a IHG hotel!!! Furniture in room dirty. Patched ceiling with trash cans you see it for leaks. Stains on walls and lamp shade. Lighting in rooms are terrible so dark and depressing. Pool was also dirty. Breakfast always put away and cleaned up before time the told me it ended.
