TRYP by Wyndham Lübeck Aquamarin

The hotel was recommended because of the distance of the business scene. For a business stay, quality of the room (third floor) is poor. Cleaningness of the carpets, painting old, scrapped. I used aircondition for five minutes only and switched off because of the noise. But after, for an hour long, a buzz noise repetead in every 5-8 minute even it was off. Quiet annoying. Whom to complaint at midnight? As well the bathroom shrink was foul, took long time to get empty. The sound proofness of the room was not perfect, the mobile phone rings were disturbing me from the next room mid of might. Breakfast was acceptable, beside the crowed of pensioners.

We arrived late at night so only slept, had breakfast and then left. Breakfast was ok if you eat everything not great if you have any allergies. No alternative for Lactose or gluten intolerant. The room was ok but did not feel very clean. The extra bed for our daughter was broken and nearly fell apart. There was a kitchen outside the door to share with the room next door. It had old food in a pot and not so nice as the first thing you see when you walk in. Next morning we were disturbed very early by our neighbors, the walls are like paper. Will probably not be back....

We have been to this hotel over the last 8yrs on many occasions to visit family that live locally. Unfortunately on this occasion we were hugely disappointed with the hotel and the lack of modernisation. It's looking very dated and tired and the room we were in (315) had a tap in the bathroom that had a lot of rust on it, in addition to a cracked bathroom window that couldn't would stay opened and we had to use a pencil to keep the window open to remove the condensation. The outside was also poorly maintained with tiles missing on walls. Despite it being convenient we won't be returning to this hotel again.

So well in the suberbs of Lubeck about a 40-45 minutes walk from the City, very small room, very tired with a number of maintenance issues, food terrible many in our group myself included could eat nothing from the evening Buffet, staff at the bar well lets say sharp and be careful you check your change! Very expensive for a below average hotel, Note to self and other travellers pay that bit more and stay in the Radisson right in the beautiful City of Lubeck!

This hotel was a little surprising. Normally you would expect efficiency in a German hotel, but it was chaotic here. I realise we arrived as a coach party of 40, but even so. The receptionist and manager made it difficult, I can speak reasonable German, but they didn't seem interested. Our room was on the ground floor and the corridor was really dark and I almost stumbled and fell whilst walking to the room. There were no instructions to connect to WiFi which meant a return trip to reception. It was the bed configuration that was the most startling, there were two very narrow beds at opposite sides of the room, almost like a ships cabin. Evening meal was a buffet which included curried fish. The bar service was slow and the beers were not full glasses. We did stroll around the corner to a local bar where we were able to watch the World Cup games which brought a better atmosphere. Breakfast again was chaotic, it actually made for good entertainment watching everyone. We had no time to visit Lubeck, which was a shame as we had an early morning departure.

It was super... Good service, cheap and good for the money. It is not a new hotel, but it is clean, good and great bed. No sound, I sleep great and get what I pay for.. I was there before and I will be there again

Very convenient place with good parking. Not super close to center but works very well if your travelling with a car. A cab to the center is quite cheap.

The hotel was conveniently located close to the old town but it was too far to walk so we used public transportation. The bus stopped close to the hotel. Was able to find parking outside the hotel for free. The room was large and met our expectations but it was kind of dark in there due to the window being small. There was a small kitchenette outside our room which was a nice feature. There was only one elevator and it was slow so we used the stairs for 3rd floor room. The receptionist was great and helped answer any questions we had.

Very friendly staff, quick and easy check-in. The room was small and could have been cleaned a little better. The kitchenette was outdated and did not have a coffee maker. The bathroom was small as well, however it was updated and nice and clean.

Was over a night stay service was good, friendly staff and clean room. Could recommend it.
