A True Concierge Hero – Above and Beyond Service by Mr. Kota Durgesh I want to express my deepest gratitude to Mr. Kota Durgesh, Chef Concierge at ITC Kakatiya, Hyderabad, and a former colleague from my concierge days. After many years, I reached out to him for help sourcing a critical spine-related medicine that was unavailable anywhere in Bangalore. Without hesitation, Durgesh went above and beyond—personally traveling to the pharmacy, ensuring the medicine was securely packed, and even delivering it to the bus station bound for Bangalore. He shared every detail with me, including the parcel invoice and contact information, and followed up the next morning to ensure I had received it. This experience reminded me of what true concierge service means: going the extra mile with empathy, precision, and heart. Durgesh exemplifies the very spirit of hospitality, and I am truly grateful for his exceptional support during a difficult time.

Clean, well-run property. Excellent water temperature and pressure in the shower. Everything in the room worked and thoughtfully designed, except the "master switch" for the lights that needs to be on for anything else to work, but it turns ALL the lights on! A bit inconvenient if you wake up in the middle of the night - a common occurrence due to jet lag. Food quality in the restaurants within the hotel was good, but not great, as compared to Park Hyatt (where I stayed last time). If you're comfortable walking on the busy, city streets of India, there are good dining options nearby, such as Jalpaan vegetarian buffet (5 min walk) and 10 Downing Street pub (10 min walk). I had a room overlooking the pool. It was a very relaxing view, especially because of the lots of trees behind the pool, both within the property and beyond. Great location for me as I needed to be close to Ameerpet and Secunderabad. Not so close to hitec city or the airport.
