ITC Kakatiya, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hyderabad

The room was clean and refreshed.

As of August 20 - Significant construction ongoing that has noise at the site. Continuous chiselling on the property itself. They do stop at the evening night hours from my observation. It is highly advised you consider this before booking. At checkout no adjustment to room price upon request. Site management did try to offer any other consideration but because I was booked through third party…supposedly….no adjustment to room price upon request. Was a simple 10% request. Little frustrated. Paid in full. Done with the site unfortunately unless a simple consideration of 10% is applied. Paid ~15k INR to hear chiselling all day long. I will post back after one week (7 days) if anything was acted upon in my case by site management. What I requested was not unreasonable whatsoever!

The Hotel Management seemed completely unorganized regarding room allocations. Over two nights, I had to change rooms twice, yet none of them were up to the expected standard—even though I had booked the hotel’s top-category room. The management initially asked me to shift, citing upcoming renovation work, but later the reception admitted that the room was actually reserved for another guest. Eventually, I was placed in a room where the AC didn’t function properly, electrical switches had issues, and several other problems persisted. Overall, the experience was very disappointing and felt like a complete waste of money at ITC Kakatiya. To add to this, the food quality was also below expectations.

Celebrated the Long Rakhi weekend with family at the ITC Kakatiya hyderabad. It was my third visit and my family enjoyed the weekend. The Housekeeper Ms Shweta was there to welcome us during check in and took us And showed us around while escorting us to the rooms. The new renovated floor was looking fresh and inviting. It was a seamless check in and a welcome home pillow was placed on our beds. The rooms were well done up and had ample of amenities and welcome goodies to keep us occupied. It was my wife's first visit to hyderabad and Shweta gave her a few things to do list over the weekend. The breakfast spread was quite delicious and the service was impeccable with Viju, shadab and the ever smiling Chef Shrini and Chef Rishiraj. The live dosas were very tempting and we experimented with a few local offerings. The In room service was taken care by Neeraj who was always there to assist. The evening happy hours at the iconic Marco polo lounge was quite memorable with a new two girl band playing some nostalgic songs to set the mood for the evening. Kiran and Azmat were there to take good care of the lounge. A visit to hyderabad is incomplete without having the dum Biryani however we were highly advised to try the kache ghost ki biryani and it was a 11 on 10. As it was raining the whole evening on saturday we reached the health club and there was Ahmed who took a PT drill with my wife and aunt and they ended up going back on a workout session on sunday as well. Meanwhile I lazed around in the landscaped pool and spent a good hour in the steam and sauna rooms. Sunday wasa day for local sightseeing. Monday morning and the GM Mr Menon was on his rounds and we met him over breakfast and had some good interactions with him. A Bombay based hotelier so we connected on a few common things to do a comparison of Hyderabad vs Bombay rain travel. He has truly maintained the ITC luxury standards at the property and Is always welcoming to guest feedback. All in all a good stay and looking forward to the next Hyderabad visit minus the rains.

Excellent stay and hospitality. The rooms are very clean and the food is really awesome, even at Deccan Pavilion, the coffee shop. Dakshin and Kebabs & Kurries are anyway exceptional.
