ITC Kakatiya, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hyderabad

Where to start about We planned for hyderabad and asked Mr rajneesh from ITC FOR HELP he suggested Mr abhishekh menon from itc kakatiya Then it all started just called Mr menon He was GM OF ITC KAKATIYA SO THOUGHT HE won't call back But Mr abhishek menon was so humble THAT he called twice and we booked itc for 17 18 oct for my wife's birthday We were really greeted well by all his team mate Right from front office to all chef House keeping persons to restaurant managers I would like to add some special words for EACH one of them Mr abhishek menon GM ITC KAKATIYA MOST HUMBLE AND DOWN TO EARTH GM OF ANY HOTEL he was really awesome One can say ,He made haleem for us and that also only for us ,So I could rather say Sorry to say we have only one stomach to digest all love which his team mates have given us Front office person Mr Pankaj Very nice person On one request he gave print out along with other things in just few mins Pooja jee Very nice lady I think.she was one who welcomed us and greeted us She was handling client service Mr menon she us right person Always smiling Vrushali ( other lady who was very humble) Concierge Amit malhotra Very nice person , made all arrangements for us ( related to travel desk) He is main person there Deepa( lady who booked golconda tour for us) Mr kota( really very humble person) Mr kota is head of travel desk He took all efforts to see that all.pur arrangements were really tailor made and up to the mark Always smiling person Each hotel should have someone like him Chauffer Abu and khaleel ( both chauffers are really very nice) F&b manager Mr om Chef asif Exe chef Made haleem for us along with galouti kebab Chef vishal rajgopak Wht a chef He was a chef from dombivali and spoke marathi very well He was excellent in his job And made my wife birthday very special As she was on fast They made lot of stuff which she can eat during fast He made some special food for us during having lunch at dakshin Chef bhaskar Really humble chef Chef roy Really humble chef Chef anmol Excellent chicken biryani Just wow Chef shriniwas Made special.omlette and Spanish omlette for breakfast Chef sandeep Made special food at dakshin ( all of them were really up to the mark ) Deccan pavilion Mr Abdul Where to start from a person Every restaurant should have He really made pur day Always smiling and working for more then 30 yrs Really wow appreciated his service during our stay at ITC KAKATIYA HE WAS FROM CHENNAI PLZ GIVE HIM.FULL MARKS HAS HE IS REALLY GEM OF PERSON MR MENON PLZ MAKE A NOTE WOULD MENTION FEW OTHER NAMES BELOW Vikram rathod Deepak mehra Mr chaudhary Arfif Khushi Uttam from kebab and curry Kamlesh Dakshin Bishwajeet From house keeping Mr tarun FROM FRONT OFFICE

Good but needs big improvements otherwise this should be 4* hotel I will begin with good points - All staff polite - All staff very accommodating - Nice little gym but having water bottles would be helpful Now the bad points - Room is very outdated with signs of wear showing - If you aren’t quick, the lifts won’t stop and you could end up hurting yourself - Location of hotel is nearby nothing vaguely interesting - I was initially given a room which had several bugs and insects on the ceiling skirting board (the staff gave me a new room instantly) - Breakfast is very limiting - The cleaners need to do much better as the new room I was given still had hairs in the bathroom from previous guest and throughout my stay, it was never cleaned - Very limited amenities - Very far from airport

Had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at ITC Kakatiya! A special shoutout to Chef Rishiraj, who took exceptional care of mr throughout the meal. His Chinese recommendations were spot on, every dish was bursting with flavour and perfectly balanced.

Have been to several ITC properties around India - Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and now Hyderabad. This property takes its pride in the Kakatiya Dynasty and drawing inspiration from that golden period. Compliments to Head Concierge Kota who answered my request for an airport pickup and is a consistent and calming presence in the hotel. There are several senior staff in the restaurants as well that keep the ITC standards high. Where some training is still to be reinforced are the younger staff who do appear lost and unsure. Such as getting my checkout done despite the system glitch where we couldn’t separate the charges into my corporate and personal cards. The rooms are spacious and come with a massage chair ! The kebabs restaurant which is a brand under the ITC group and Dakshin are all stars. Attentive service and great cooking. The gym is a regular size with three running machines and two ellipticals and a bike. The stations are standard. Gym attendants tend to be reserved.
