My room was small but comfortable

Breakfast was excellent, a good choice of fresh, tasty food. The hotel location is great, just by the Thames and a short stroll to Eton. Parking whilst not on site is close by and only a short walk.

Nothing stands out as not liking, staff, room and food were all good, so no complaints.

The afternoon tea itself was excellent with greatcoat variety of items and the window view was stunning. However there were a few issues: The air conditioning was not on and the room became very hot even though it was a cool day with occasional sunlight. The staff were polite but only appeared occasionally, guests having to seek them out. Not acceptable for this standard of hotel. The table was too small to take two stands for the food which made eating pouring tea etc difficult.

Location - walk short distance to the Castle/ the Thames, public car park not too far.

Guest rooms are in 4 buildings, we believe. Not spelled out in Booking.com. Room description not accurate.

Quirky, comfortable, quiet and clean room. Staff on reception and in restaurant were lovely. Brilliant location on the bank of the Thames.

Restaurant wasn’t particularly clean with some uncleared and unwiped tables.
