Comfort Inn & Suites Sequoia/Kings Canyon

We enjoyed the pool and the close proximity to dining, shopping, and of course Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. What we did not like was the cleanliness of our room. Or, lack thereof. There appeared to be questionable stains on the couch where my son was supposed to sleep on the pull out. The bed in the pull out couch looked like the linen hadn't been changed in a very long time. When I asked for replacement linens and blanket, I was told they ran out of blankets, but did provide clean sheets. The bed inside the couch was horrendous and not even my 13 year old son could stand it. It is a very old spring mattress and when you lay on it, it becomes flattened and the springs poke in to you.

We liked the stay on comfort inn and good deal for the price. Near to Sequoia park which is great plus. Front desk staff I think his name is Jared was really good.

Overall a decent place to stay. There can be a lot of updates done to the amenities. The gym was non existent with a lot of run down equipment shoved into the smallest space possible. The room was in good shape except for the abundance of ants crawling in and around the bathroom. I have two small kids and making sure that they are in a space that is clean and comfortable are key especially traveling. The fact that this isn't better maintained was a concern for me.. The breakfast was a nice amenity to have especially getting ready for a long day at the park and I felt that overall the hotel was safe.

The beds are nice and clean. Bathtub is a little bit old. Generally it is ok. Convenient location.

We stayed for two days. Staffs are very friendly. Good breakfast.

Electricity was out from 10 pm and it didn’t come back until we checked out. There was no water in the room or bathroom. It was so hot that we couldn’t sleep at all. While we were checking in they told us that electricity will be out maximum of 1 hour. If they told us about the electricity or water will be out all night we would not check in. We could drive to other hotel. Worst experience ever

Due to the area this place has so much potential but falls short due to it needing some updated remodeling. The rooms are outdated and look dirty. As if they’ve gone through a few years of heavy stuff. There is a lingering smell of cigarette smoke in our room. Although it’s non-smoking. Benefit across the street is a market, some restaurants and is fairly close to the entrance to the national park (about 10 mins). Only stayed one night.
