Great breakfast buffet with great coffee. Great cocktails. That is about where it ends...

Rundown, in need of renovation. Lobby and main entrance area was dead, no life to it, large empty space with closed shops. Staff were uninterested and unhelpful for the majority. Swim-up bar was mainly closed due to the hotel not being busy despite what appeared to be enough staff rostered at that location. NO ADULTS ONLY AREA despite a huge expanse of pools where they could make a child free zone. Lots of screaming kids which I would say "can't be helped" but could be due to the size of the resort. The rooms with pool access are fine but if you notice you cant actually lay down and enjoy your own private balcony as the balconies are tiny. Be careful about choosing "small lagoon" versus "large lagoon" the small lagoon access backs onto tiny shallow "pools" near the car park. Photos showed baths in room but it didnt have one, they did change rooms for us though when I mentioned this. All in all very "meh", run down and old and not at all worth the money. Won't be back unfortunately. Great cocktails though!

Hotel looks nice, pool area is lovely, and distance from town is okay in a car which we had, but walking it would be some walk. Bed was comfortable and room was spacious.

Not a great experience. The room we booked online had a spa bath in it - the room we got given did not. It wasn’t massively important but yeah not amazing when you’re paying $400 a night. The room wasn’t clean however. We had to call reception on the first night as the bed sheets had stains on them. They changed the sheets quickly, barely got any apology for it though. We payed $175 for a pool cabana which is quite expensive but by choice, from 10am until 6pm. However pool cleaning started at 10am until half 11am, so the first hour and a half was noisy and couldn’t really enjoy the pool. The pool has also left me with dermatitis on my face. No idea if it’s my sensitive skin or the pool conditions but they’re not the cleanest so wouldn’t be surprising. This is not a 5 star hotel and I didn’t enjoy my stay. It’s a shame as I stayed for my birthday which was a few days later than the booking. I did tell them when confirming the booking but nothing was special about the stay. This wasn’t worth the money we paid.
