Probably the nicest hotel in the city. Seemed like most of the countries military leaders and politicians were staying at the hotel.

"Excellent Speciality Restaurants worth giving a try!"

The hotel is huge and has a corporate feel with many business people and tour groups visiting. This made it feel very busy and a complete change from the boutique style hotel we had previously stayed in whilst staying in the old town of Quito. The bedrooms felt dated but large, spotlessly clean and everything was in working order. It was always incredibly busy at breakfast but very well organised with an extensive buffet which was constantly being replenished. The food portions in the bar area were huge and excellent value for money. The restaurants were all very good, but the South American was fabulous with outstanding service. If we had been staying longer, we would definitely have eaten there again. Would happily return as it proved excellent value for money and the speciality restaurants were of a very high standard.
