Ruskin Inn Hotel

The entire hotel smells like cigarettes! It was disgusting and even my bag smells like it now!

Owner and staff were understanding of the results of the weather events that impacted this area and were kind and patient with this and even called to remind me that I had left my coffee bean grinder behind at

It was a nice quiet place.

The TV remote didn’t work the lamp shades were dirty. The furniture is old and very worn and faded. The shower has visible repairs and looked horrible.

Great stay, clean and well appointed!

Extremely outdated, cigarette burns on sink. Lukewarm fridge, old school coffee pot Smoking is allowed, so the smell is horrendous Trash piled outside. Pool was out of service Requested maid service, housekeeping flipped my sign to do not disturb and kept it moving. Do not stay here… It’s Bates Motel

I booked this hotel because of the price. When I pulled up, at the front door it smelled like weed (this was for the entire stay). Every smoker congregates at the front door to smoke as well. The room was nice looking at first glance. I completed my meeting and got ready for bed and when I pulled back the covers I had a bed sheet with a cigarette burn in the middle of the sheet I know the cleaning person had to have seen, there were also several stains on one side of the bed sheets nearest the window. I went to the other side of the bed and when I laid down, I literally slid towards the middle of the bed because the springs in the bed moved me that way. The staff was friendly once they finished their conversation or text message but you had to wait on them to complete that before you could speak. Next time I will pay extra and go to a different place.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Just an older basic hotel with some facelifts.

Front desk person was super awesome and kind and humble after a long day at at a funeral.
