Ruskin Inn Hotel

The room was comfortable, but a bit noisy. It's an older building with gaps at the door. The communal spaces have been updated, but the room is still sporting old carpet and finishes. Corners in the room and bathroom could use some focused cleaning.

Our room did not smell good. There was mold in the bathroom and above the A/C units. Cockroaches were under the refrigerator.

The check in was fast and easy, very nice people

It is an old facility and the owners need to re-invest in the quality of the rooms, noisy frig and AC units, bath room fixtures need help, door dead blending work, drapes wouldn’t close all the way… facilities are just old!

Check-in was terrible. The hotel front desk staff rude. We booked non-smoking room, because I am 9 months pregnant, but room smells like somebody smoked in the room 2 minutes ago. We told that to front desk staff immediately, but they did nothing and asked us do we want to cancel reservation. Room is generally old and dirty. We could not touch the towels at all.

Beds need an upgrade

Hotel was unsafe and shady. Tried to talk to hotel and expedia to get my money back and was declined. Never walked foot into the door.

The property is too old,!it was clean but smelled so bad. Asked for towels several hours later we got them. The pool area needs to be redone it was awful. Four old plastic chairs at the pool need to be replaced. It was nice and quiet.
