Holiday Inn Express Saint Simons Island by IHG

Pool was tiny like what you'd find at a house, halls smelled of either a combination of musty or like paint , you could smell a strong dustiness every time the AC kicked on, the washroom for laundry for customers is on the second floor thus not making it handicap friendly, there were dead tree frogs in the entryway when we arrived and a day and a half later they were still there, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, shower had hair in it, and upon check in the staff was less than attentive or polite or professional or nice. Ultimately we left early.

Unless you are desperate, please do not stay at this hotel. Rooms are nasty and not cleaned well. Trim around wall came unglued, exposing mold, dirt, and dry wall that is crumbling. Smell is bad.

We are finishing up our long vacation and wanted to share the area with our grandson the location was very clean and the staff was very helpful. Need ti next time explore the area.

I liked the price, cheaper than staying on Jekyll Island. Comfy beds, great breakfast. The lady who fixes the breakfast was really nice.

I didn't like the quirky location. The hotel was tucked up in a community that was once residential, but now the houses are businesses.

The rooms have nice decor but theey smell mildewy. Pool was small and needs some tiles and grout repaired.

Quiet, and away from traffic.
