Best Western Sycamore Inn

Came to Dekalb for a week to help with a family matter, price and proximity to a relative's home was the priority, so was pleasantly surprised at how genuinely nice this property was. Very clean, updated, even had a TV package with MSNOW which is rare in a Best Western (often there's some kind of basic DishTV package with no news channels). Staff were wonderful. I didn't use the pool or eat breakfast on site so can't comment but would highly recommend this property.

Nice hotel and breakfast was decent

All complaints are bedding, thin blankets and small uncomfortable pillows Also the room was always hot, was hard to get it to cool down.

The location was nice.

I didnt like how tiny the pool was.

I like the view we had from our room on the second floor. I also liked that there was Laminate floors and not carpet. The Breakfast was good and housekeeping and yolonda at the front desk was Generous as well.

The Laminate floor felt a little off balance. Some of the floor slats were making cracking sound when walking.

It was very clean, easy to find close to the cancer center and very very helpful 😃

It looks old and rundown. The rooms look like motel 6 conversions.

Had booked through your website and checked in. Signed paperwork and showed the ID. Later realized that one of the door key was not working. My wife went back to front desk and she was told that we’re not registered and we were asked to pay again even though I showed the front desk receptionist the receipt for full payment. She said it was just a retention and no payment was made. Finally someone on the phone helped her and got resolved I asked her how do I get the money back if I have to pay. Her response was to come back and discuss with the management. I told we live far and not possible
