Best Western Sycamore Inn

The hotel is well located, the staff is friendly and diligent, and the rooms are impeccably clean. The breakfast is standard for this class. It's a good place to stay at a reasonable cost. The floor laminate is coming loose in some areas, and the internet connection could be improved.

This hotel is marked as pet friendly. I booked and prepaid for a room. Upon arrival I was denied check in because the hotel only has four pet friendly rooms and they were already all taken. No apology or alternate accommodation offered.

Quiet and clean. Great location.

Did not have cold water in the sink or tub. Rm 216

The sheets were dirty and the toilet was dirty

The people were nice, but the property itself seemed to be new but in our room, maybe we had the worst room. The flooring was buckled and is going to need to be repaired. I don’t know if there has been water damage or what happened but we checked out.

The hotel was great very kind staff and very clean the house keeping was great and even helped pick up after my 3 kids when we were out by neatly placing their toys and things along the counter for them. The issue was the hotel is under construction because the majority if the backside is torn off and being replaced due to mold/mildew and rotten wood/framing. It was open so you could clearly see the insulation and framing 2x4s being cut out and replaced from the mold/mildew/rot. Now its possibly a termite issue but didnt look like it. Also they had 3/4 of the parking lot blocked off for both this and having the parking lot refinished. Definitely need to ask if this is all done with before you go

The location was perfect. The rooms were very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable!. Lots of snacks to purchase. Although I did not use the pool, it was very clean, it looked very inviting. I stayed in a two queen bed room, which was extremely spacious! Loved the bath and shower combination as I love soaking in a tub after a long Harley ride! Finding most hotels are moving towards showers only. I specifically look for tub combos. Staff very friendly and helpful. I had to hit the road early but did see the breakfast area was extensive. Seemed to have all the good fixings for a free breakfast.

The outer doors for exiting close to my vehicle were not working. Had to go through the main entrance every time I needed something from my vehicle. It might have been due to construction. They were repaving their main parking lot when I was there.
